Oh so sweet

I believe the definition oh so very sweet when looking at couples had changed from

A guy gives a girl a huge roses bouquet or the never-miss good morning/good night texts, or very expensive birthday presents or super concern and caring towards each other or well thought/planned date or diabetic-sweet words or...many more things that I can derive from dramas I watched

 

to

The situation where a very old lady cries just because she cannot feel her husband's presence around. Been apart for few seconds and she cries. To the situation where an old man religiously take his post-stroke wife to therapy for years. To the situation where a wife is loyally stayed beside her husband who cannot talk, cannot eat or do anything anymore. I'll do everything for you, literally.

Semenjak hari hari menjejak hospital, sebak juga bila tengok pesakit yang dah tua, tak mampu nak buat ADL sendiri, atau pesakit kanak kanak yang tak mungkin akan tahu nikmat FB dan segala. Terharu tengok bini, anak, atau mak bapak (bagi pesakit kanak kanak) yang datang hospital susah payah, yang jaga pesakit-pesakit ini hari hari. Yang suap makan, yang tukar pakai, yang tolong gerakkan. Semua ini sebab sayang.

Kalau couple I lap U, U labi air. Tu belum tentu sayangnya. Tak sweetlah sangatlah. Tapi kalau tengok nenek-nenek, rambut dah putih pagi-pagi lagi datang hospital bawak atuk, dengan siap bekal lagi. Itu baru terbukti sangat sayang. Ko ade?
