Mission:
Pink Hijab Day is designed to encourages Muslim women and men to participate in breast cancer awareness activities. The event also encourages the curious to ask Muslim women about their Hijabs, or Islamic headscarves.
All over the world, Muslims participated by wearing pink hijabs, pink ribbons, and donating to breast cancer foundations.

Okay, I only participated on the first one by wearing pink hijab, obviously.
However, surprisingly I would say no one would notice its GPHD in my place as no one really wear pink hijabs. Theres no "large group" wearing pink. So unfortunate because its sort of Muslimah's version of many many Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. As a Muslim living in Islamic country we should show our support!

BTW, How did I found out about GPHD? Its all started in FB when some friends RSVP-ed to the event. So, naturally since its for good cause, me too RSVP-ed. Staying true to my words, I wore pink that day (I don't want to become one of those who RSVP and didnt do it ;( )
Anyway, folks, if its for good cause, its not hurt to join. At least when we saw so many people wearing pink, that would shows so many people supporting this event right? Especially its the pink HIJAB days. Hijab=Muslimah. Lets all unite and show to the world.
For those who missed the event this year, no worries. Its help annually. Go shop pink hijab for next year's ;)
