I'm a little short idea in writing nowadays

which leads to short blog entry

Since my last entry, there are lots of events worth writing about,

but most of them are geek-in-me-speaking type.

What I'm talking about?

1. "From Machine To Human = Orthotics, Prosthetics and Neuroprosthetics. Current and Future Development" by Mr Davis. (1 Day)

Mr Davis is a very buoyant and bright person. At least, for that reason some of us stayed awake through the whole-day talk. Frankly speaking, I only able to understand half of his lectures. The remaining half are too complicated for me to understand. haha. 

The main point of his talk was : The best device are those which have maximum function AND minimal stress.

2.Thermoplastic, Thermoforming etc by Beker Orthopedic

by Mr Gary and Mr Turner (2Days)

We learned mostly about thermoplastics; the characteristics, properties etc etc. Mr Gary also showed us the bending technique and thermoforming.  

3. Different technique for TT Prosthesis by Osur

by Mr Elliott (2Days, currently ongoing)

This time, the seminar are mostly demonstration and less lectures. Good! because we won't sleep in lab, right?

Mr Eliott is a very skillful man, so we were impressed by looking the way he works. He showed us a casting technique that we never use in lab which is a lot easier (from looking) and better (for patient's fitting). Tomorrow we will have some more demo ^^

4. Theater, Mek Mulung Dewa Muda at Dewan Filharmonic Petronas

#7, #10 and me are more impressed with the hall instead of the theater, mainly because we are not really fan. But overall, the show was okay, and worth paying for. ;p Entertaining, that we had good laugh. Both the main actor and actress have very good voice.

During this weekend, I have full plan for both days.

And, I should never plan to have good sleep during the weekends, huh.
